How to lock on the flag instead of anything behind it? Switch to Mode 2, aim near the flag, hold the power button, then center on flagpole until vibration. A circle around the flag icon confirms successful lock.

What's the difference between the white one and the black one? The major difference is that the black one features horizontal distance calculation that can be used for shooting a gun or bow.

Why doesn't this device provide any distance reading? Please do not measure any objects through a window, since the laser will not travel through glasses.

It provides high-precision distance measurement, integrating latest functions such as continuous range readings, ARC (angle range compensation), Pin-Seeking and Flagpole-Locking Vibration (Vibrate when the flagpole is locked), and Speed Measuring.

The measuring range is from 5 to 1200 yards, with +/- 1m high accuracy and 6x magnification. The flagpole locking function supports a distance up to 150 yards (Flagpole only) and 250 yards (Aim the flag when it's unfolded). It can meet most user's needs.
